Ana Maria and Juan Pablo told me later they kept looking for Osmany and Edel the famous ceramic artists they had heard so much about. In typical Cuban fashion they turned out to be the unassuming “studio techs ” who had been helping us all day with glazes and equipment. This generosity & lack of hierarchy characterized our entire experience.
