                 Celebrating the FigureAppalachian Center for Craft Smithville, Tenn
 Workshop Dates:  June 23-27, 2008
 Working from a live model, the workshop will explore sculpting and painting techniques. Participants will sculpt a female torso using the coil method and draw and paint on paper, paper clay slabs and bisque ware forms. They will also make paper clay and create rich and varied surfaces using majolica glazes, colored clays and polychrome terra sigilatta. For sculptors, painters and ceramic artists.
