In 1966 I visited Cuba for 2 months with the 2nd Group to oppose the travel ban. As guests of the Cuban Government, we traveled throughout the country & met with Che Guevara.
One of my most memorable experiences was visiting the Art School at Cubanacan. I was impressed by the dynamic & expressive artwork created by both students and faculty far from the socialist realism I had expected. We all lost our passports for several years on our return.
