The Cubans see shortages as an opportunity for invention. Working with recycled materials they reformulate slips and glazes out of car batteries, TV Tubes, ground up coral & eggshells. They cobble together kilns & wheels, ball mills & compressors out of recycled junk such as old refrigerators and auto parts.
