In our initial planning we hoped that these 3 exhibitions of Cuban Art, here at Mass Art, the Fuller and the show of Cuban Prints at the Laconia Gallery on October 2 would coincide with change for the better in both the US and Cuba. Now that Obama is president & committed to improving US-CUBA relations I feel free to talk in public about the hard truths of the political reality of the past 7 years. This is the greater context of “Art in Cuba Today.”
